The death of traditional marketing & sales as many know it (part 2)

I hated “traditional selling” and I avoided marketing like the plague...

(TL;DR)

  • Benefit: Our products are delivered immediately
  • Feature: Explain the benefit of your products
  • Icon: Change the icons in the settings

Sound like something you might be interested in? If so, keep reading....

Every book I read, every course I went through, every YouTube video I watched on sales and marketing didn’t “feel right.”

Faking your lifestyle… Over-hyped claims… Buying fake followers and friends… Making unbelievable promises (that were also undeliverable) …

...Lying about “I was completely broke, homeless, and dying” stories… sketchy bait-and-switch tactics… spamming peoples messenger inbox with unsolicited pitches.

I’m not saying that stuff doesn’t work. I’m sure you can think of a few off the top of your head that look like they’re crushing it and they use a lot of those tactics.

I just didn’t want to do it. And this traditional way of marketing and sales never sat well with me.

So, I tried doing the complete opposite.

If you feel the same way, you probably tried it too?

I call it “Value Quicksand...”

Value Quicksand is when you give-give-give until your blue in the face…

Hoping people will see the value in working with you and they decide to invest into your program.

At first glance it’s not a TERRIBLE strategy. In fact, the idea is solid—and it makes you feel good about what you’re doing.

“Give value, teach, and they’ll want to reciprocate.”

But 9 times out of 10, it doesn’t work like that.

First, of all, you can’t give free stuff away all the time. If you do, then you don’t have a business. You have a charity.

Second of all, you can’t pound “value” and information down people’s throat. I mean, you can… but that doesn’t lead them to working with you.

If it worked like that, the interwebz would be swarming with wealthy coaches and we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

Instead, what ends up happening with the value quicksand is…

Trainers quickly find out...

The same people they gave free value to, forked over $3,000 to work with another online trainer

This was the same person who told YOU they didn’t have $97 a month to sign up for their WAY less expensive coaching program.

We’re going to get into the reason WHY on the next page.

But before we do, I want to make something crystal clear…

I’m NOT telling you to take a buy or diet sales and marketing approach.

And I’m NOT telling you forget about value or teaching.

There are people in your world, with real problems, that you're damn good at solving.

And they need your help.

My goal is to give you NEW tools…

And a unique plan to communicate that with them.

I call it the ultimate lead machine…

Because once you have this in place it spits out high-quality, pre-sold, dream clients like clockwork WITHOUT the “buy or die” sales mentality.

It has NOTHING to do with paid ads, complicated franken-funnels, or 60-minute webinars.

I’m going to break it down on the next page so you can use it yourself.

If you're a legit coach, who's damn good at what you do, and who gets great results with your clients?

This may be the most important message you read in a long time.
